A life that’s carefully considered - not overly disciplined
A Measured Life is my way of documenting what happens when you hit your 40s, have a baby, and suddenly realize your body, hormones, skin, and hair are speaking an entirely new language. I’ve always cared about wellness, but after PCOS, adenomyosis, and postpartum shifts, I had to start over - relearning what my body actually needs.
This isn’t a space for perfection. Here, I share the things I’m trying, what’s actually helping, and the honest, messy middle between “ideal health” and real life.

My Hormones Have Notes - and I'm Listening
Some days I feel like I’m glowing. Other days, my hormones are clearly in charge - running the show with zero supervision. But I’m learning that healing isn’t about control; it’s about awareness. It’s noticing the shifts, the patterns, and the whispers my body sends when something’s off.
Perimenopause, postpartum changes, adenomyosis, inflammation - they’re all part of the conversation my body’s been trying to have with me. This space is where I unpack what I’m learning, one hormonal plot twist at a time.

Progress Over Perfection - Always
Wellness, for me, is an ongoing experiment. I’m constantly trying, tweaking, and learning what actually makes me feel balanced. Some days that’s a homemade scrub and herbal tea; other days it’s coffee, treats, and tacos.
From clean beauty swaps to hormone-supportive foods and supplements, I’m less focused on doing it all right and more on feeling right.
Here’s what’s helping me right now:
🧴 Clean beauty and self-care that support hormonal balance.
🥗 Foods that nourish instead of restrict.
🌿 Vitamins, teas, and routines that keep me grounded.
It’s not perfect. But it’s evolving - and so am I.
